Internet News – Resellers Software Update Service (SUS) subscription Fees
Dear Hosting Resellers,In 2008, H-Sphere (the developer/support for your control panels) was sold to Parallels, an industry leader in control panels. They have been moving forward with offering new features and greater support for the H-Sphere product but not for free. In addition, they have announced a new 3.2 H-Sphere, with many new features. In order to upgrade to Parallels H-Sphere 3.2 and have continued updates, all current License holders are required to have an active Software Update Service (SUS) subscription. Basically, Parallels has changed H-Sphere licensing offerings. The result is that maintenance, support and yearly service fees on all control panels has dramatically increased and on very short notice. Our Internet, Inc. continues to absorb the greatest portion of these costs. However, resellers will see a small onetime subscription charge of $1 for each control panel in use in their reseller account on November 15th. The charge will not apply to the first 15 cps in each reseller’s account. If you have control panels you are not planning on using or moderated in signup, we suggest you delete them to avoid charges on these unused CPs. Please make sure they are removed before Nov 25th 2008 to avoid the subscription charge on unused panels. We continue to work daily to provide the best services at the lowest cost to all of our customers. We thank you for your continued support and attention to this timely matter.George DickmanHead of Reseller dept.Read more from the sourceRelated Keywords for this posts:SEO Services, Technology, Webmaster news, blogging, software tips, computer, cell phones, car news, entertainment, funny videos, scripts
