Internet News – Parallels Acquires H-Sphere

Parallels today announced it has purchased the assets of the Positive Software (PSOFT) including its H-Sphere control panel software with 2 million end users worldwide. As part of the agreement, Parallels will resell Comodo security products, including SSL certificates, with its automation solutions.Through this acquisition, PSOFT customers will benefit from Parallels’s extensive resources and high-quality customer support said Serguei Beloussov, CEO of Parallels. It supports our OPEN FUSION technology initiative by expanding the number of customers who benefit from the large number of ISV (independent software vendor) applications which are integrated through a common hosting platform.PSOFT is a premier automation software vendor for hosting companies and data centers. The product portfolio includes the H-Sphere control panel, H-Sphere Single Server Edition, CP+ dedicated server management, SiteStudio builder, NOC Monkey remote server provisioning, and the Linux-based Free VPS solution.
